Electric fuel cleaning systems are designed for non-volatile oils such as diesel, motor, and hydraulic oils. (Not for use with fluids that have a flash point below 100°F (37.8°C).) Fueltec’s electric systems utilize the same filtration and water separation technology as the pneumatic fuel polishing systems.
These electric fuel cleaning systems are used extensively to purify diesel fuel at critical power generation sites such as Hospitals and Data Centers.
Fueltec manufacturers mobile electric systems with flow rates from eight gallons per minute to over fifty gallons per minute.
Diesel fuel is first passed through a one micron primary filter, then the gear pump pushes the fuel through a micro-glass coalescer where water is separated from the diesel to less than fifty parts per million.
The clean dry fuel is then returned to the storage tank.
